This is kind of the culmination of this whole semester of creating media for this blog. I originally wanted to have this space reflect the show that I created for my college radio station, KUGR. Using different Adobe products, I created my logo, different versions of which are seen in the video. I also gathered and worked with some audio and other things before making this project.
It is a little short, and I eventually will update it on my own time so that I can have a promotional video for my show, so it will have to be faster paced to reflect media views. At the moment though it is a good representation of how my show came to be and what it represents to me.
The video was created on Adobe Premiere and was made of clips collected mostly on my phone. The studio shots I set up my phone and recorded while I was doing some of my show, although I didn’t get as much of this footage as I would’ve liked. I also screen-recorded to display that the show has some social media presence.
The audio was collected mostly from show recordings that I did that past semester, as well as some supplemental audio that I recorded in my closet. My friend also shot some other footage of me doing the show for me to use, but there were problems sharing the videos so I couldn’t use them.
I tried to keep most of the transitions simple and subtle, which is more just a personal editing choice. I like the story it tells and that ultimately it tells about my show and gets you sort of involved in the world.
